First sunburn in NYC...

After the great Musical Lion King last night there starts already a new day....

How amazing... The sun really exist here ;)
We started our day with a nice boatride around South Manhattan. So finally takeing manymany pictures from the Skyline.
After 90minutes cruise we decided to walk around "a bit" :) After 15km of City-Tour by feet we came back to our hotel around 8pm (!) with quite heavy legs... But you see the most when you do it like that (well to go back and forth on Canalstreet wasn't that interesting anymore, but our map just didn't fit with the streets overhere...strange, no?)

So we saw quite a lot today; Statue of liberty, Ground zero, Wall Street, NY Stock exchange, City Hall, Canal Street (more then we actually wanna too...) and finally te top of the Empire state building!!

At the end of a "hard" day we decided to cook in our room (well I guess everybody knows who was the chef...) So a big Steak, potatoes, some veggies and a nice bottle of red wine. The vue couldn't be better; who else of you can see the Empire State building while eating?? ;)

And now time to sit back and relaxxxxx....
Ond tschuess...au revoir, byebye

New day in NYC!

Finishing the day yesterday with the Comic strip was very good! 5 comedians and then 6 more doing auditions for the club! So enough laughing yesterday!

Today was a new start of explorering the big apple. We took the tourbus at Times square, the day started with very nice weather. A bit of sun, no rain or wind. So a nice day to sit in an open bus and walk around! But we decided to go to the National Museum of Natural History.
Interesting museum so we spend there a few hours!

When we got out it was raining a bit but it stopped as soon we where on the sidewalk ordering a hot dog. Hopping on the bus to take a tour around Harlem and Central park.

Then it started raining like crazy! Our clothes wet from top to bottom! Now back at the hotel to take a warm shower and dry clothes.

After going for dinner in BXL-café. The most popular Belgian Café in NY. And after we're going to The Lion King in the Minskoff-theatre on Broadway!

We'll tell tomorrow how that was!

First real tour in New York!

                                             Madison square garden

Gorilla's in the mist! part2 King Kong on the Empire State Building!

Reminder for all the businesses lost after 9/11
                                           Building a new skyscraper!
                                                                         Go visit
                                          The Guggenheim
                                             The Metropolitan

Our first day exploring NY is over. All ready tired of the walking threw the streets and Central park!
We started our day with a bustour from Times square to Battery park and back! The downtown-tour.
I've been never been a fan of trips like this but the city is so big so you you learn a little bit where to go. So the last days here it will be take the bus again and get off and walk around there! Ticket is payed, cheaper then public transport or taxi's and you have a view from a few metres high! :-)

Now we have to hope that the weather get's a little bit better cause we wonna see the top of the Empire State building! And so much more!

We got to go now! Getting ready for a comedy evening in the comic-strip. The place where Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Adam Sandler started so hopefully we see a new big talent. But the drinks are free so  plenty of alcohol tonight!

For tomorrow there's another thing planned but that stays a surprise!

See ya'll tomorrow!
